NOT all Heywood supporters, many of whom rely on their Club handbooks for information, may be aware of an attractive double header at Crimble this coming weekend.
We entertain Norden as per the established fixtures on Saturday, July 25 (1.30pm), and were due to travel to Littleborough the following day.
The latter has now been superseded by the quarter-final of the Lancashire Cricket Board KO Cup, when we entertain Walsden (1pm).
In a period when there has been little senior Sunday cricket at Crimble, it’s a good opportunity for Heywood followers to get down to the Club and cheer the boys on.
The game at Littleborough will now be played on Saturday, September 5, meaning that we will play Boro on successive days – the scheduled home game against them the following day stays in place.
