Heywood Under-13s In Burton Cup Curtain-Raiser

Heywood CC’s under-13s face Bury on Sunday morning in a curtain-raiser for the day’s big event, the Burton Cup semi-final.

John Heywood’s youngsters have had an excellent season considering the bad weather, finishing second to an older and more experienced Littleborough side in their division.

The match starts at 9.45am, with the Burton Cup semi starting at 1.30pm.

Heywood CC under-13s (v Bury, h, Sunday. Meet 9.10am) Danny James,  Shoeb Zahid, Keelan Nugent, Jack Morley, Billy Radcliffe, Darius Campbell, Sam Sweeney, Ben Fisher, Jacob Ellis, Ben Crompton, Ethan Thompson Holt. 12th man: Josh Thompson.
