Heywood CC face a Friday night showdown with Monton and Weaste at Crimble after topping the North West group in the CLL’s T20 competition.
Norden beat Rochdale at Woodhouse Lane last night in a last-ball thriller, meaning Heywood top the group with Middleton going through as runners’-up.
It means potentially another great night at Crimble in front of a big crowd.
The full draw for the quarter-finals – all to be played on Friday, 6 July – is as follows:
Heywood v Monton and Weaste
Littleborough v Oldham
Clifton v Middleton,
Werneth v Milnrow
The semi-final ties will be drawn after the quarter-finals.
In other news, the CLL committee have decided that all five points go to Norden following their farcical game at Radcliffe last week.
Radcliffe refused to take the field at the Racecourse Ground at home to the Villagers, claiming the conditions were unsafe despite the umpires declaring the pitch was fit. Norden took to the pitch and every Radcliffe player was timed out.
Radcliffe face the league’s disciplinary committee on July 23.
