UPDATE: Heywood Face Trip To Ormskirk In LCB KO On June 2 Or 9

Heywood face a trip to Ormskirk in the second round of the LCB Knockout Cup after overcoming Milnrow in a bowl out at a washed out Ladyhouse yesterday.

Simon Dawson and Chris Kaye hit the wickets for Heywood, who came out 2-1 winners in what is an unsatisfactory way to win a match.

Norden also triumphed in a bowl-out, beating Swinton Moorside, but Rochdale lost out to Prestwich.

The game has to be played by Sunday 9 June. Ormskirk play in the National Cup this weekend. If they win, their next match in that competition is Sunday 2 June – the scheduled date for the next round – we will play them on June 9.
