Heywood has once again been shortlisted for the NatWest CricketForce Award at the LCB OSCA’s (Outstanding Services to Cricket Awards)
This is the award that Heywood CC won last year after hosting the wonderful showcase event in 2012.
Our efforts in 2013 have again been recognised by the LCB and the winner will be announced at the OSCA’s dinner on Friday July 19th at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.
Paul Nixon, former Leicestershire and England wicketkeeper will be speaking and there will be live music at the end of the awards ceremony.
Anyone wishing to go to the dinner should see Bobby Cross; we were really well represented last year with 23 members of the club attending the event. It would be great to see some new faces at the dinner. which is always a great night and a chance to reflect on the hard work done by so many across the county at grass roots level.
Tickets are £35 and the club will be looking to arrange transport again depending on numbers.
