Heywood CC were delighted to welcome John Willie Lees down to Crimble last week.
The Middleton-based brewery have renewed their sponsorship of the club for another year, and they continue to supply us with the beer that makes us a top venue for the discerning drinker.
Last year, we enjoyed a great beer festival with more of John Willie’s ales, and some of us enjoyed a trip to the brewery last year with the Rotary Club for more excellent beer.
Dean Redfearn, director of sales, area manager Shelley Hawksworth and free trade sales manager Ian Wrathall joined members of the committee on a night when the playing field was full of young cricketers benefiting from the investment in local clubs provided by John Willie Lees.
Chairman Mike Law and president Bob Cross were among members who thanked John Willie Lees for their support and the continued provision of top-notch beer.
