Burton Cup Semi OFF – To Be Re-arranged

Heywood CC’s Burton Cup semi-final clash with Walsden today has been called off.

It had been hoped that the sodden square would dry out as the afternoon went on, but it was showing no signs of improvement.

The umpires have told the club that there is a reserve date for the game of Sunday 5 August, although Heywood are offering to play Walsden next week (Sunday 8 July).
