Hooley Bridge 2nds went down to a disappointing home defeat to title rivals Cheadle Hulme at Heywood Leisure Centre. In horrendous conditions at the Leisure Centre, it was the visitors who were able to cope better and they came back from a goal down to triumph 3-1. Bridge Show Their Quality To Hold Tough Fothergill Side

Bridge FC and Fothergill and Whittle 3rds battled out a 4-4 draw at the Leisure Centre on Saturday. The young Bridge side – most of whom have just moved up into open-age football – were not overawed by bigger opponents and played with skill and passion on a beautiful day in Heywood.
