Heywood Under 13’s came through their toughest test so far with flying with two wins in two days. On Sunday, playing a Clifton side with district players, Heywood batted first looking to build on the previous week’s first league win. Good luck to Heywood CC’s under-13s side, who are getting a pre-season run-out at the Rochdale Junior Indoor Cricket Tournament this half-term. John Heywood’s side travel to Kingsway Sports Centre on Tuesday 14 February to take on some of the area’s other sides in a tournament that will be “competitive but fun”.
