Cricket chairman David Fare has confirmed Rob Nicol as Heywood’s professional for 2015. Heywood CC’s Crimble ground is set to benefit from massive improvements thanks to funding from Sport England. Christmas comes to Crimble for real on Sunday 22 December. Firstly, running from 1.30-3.30pm is the children’s Christmas Party, which will see the young ones entertained by a clown, with music, balloons, fun and games – and, of course, a visit from Father Christmas.
