Heywood now have five new ECB approved, Level 2 cricket coaches.
Nerves were jangling at Old Trafford on Sunday morning ahead of final assessments for Scott McHugh, John Heywood, Adam Fawcett, Dale Latham and Danny Pawson.
But all passed their final tests and the club now boasts a dozen qualified coaches.
This should make training even better for the town’s young players.
Well done everyone.

Had big Fash left his car on double yellows to avoid paying the 50p parking charge??
Well done lads. Don’t forget to let me have a copy of your certificates so I can reclaim the funding but also lets not forget about Tom Blundell who has also passed his final assessment, and has given me a copy of his certficate, and his ECB registration number.
We are now in a very good position with regard to qualified coaches at the Club, thank you to everyone who helps with the Junior teams, Being down on a Tuesday evening when all the junior teams are training (especially last night, when the weather was great) is a fantastic sight to see. We have over 100 junior players registered.
Sorry Blunders! Shouldn’t forget you.
