Guinness is £2 a pint at Crimble on Saturday night to celebrate St Pat’s Day.
Combined with Spurs v Bolton on TV in the quarter-final of the FA Cup, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Ireland’s day of tribute to the ale at the home of cricket.
For anyone wanting to graft, there’s also a full day’s work ahead on the ground as the clock ticks down to Heywood CC’s Natwest Cricketforce Day 2012.
So ideally, you want to be working up a thirst, then quenching it with cool, dark, hoppy Guinness.
The club opens at 5.30pm.
PS – I’ve included one of the classic Guinness adverts. Send me a link if you want to share any others.

Have the new covers arrived? looking at Twitter activity it looks like our Rob is planning attending and hitting up the cheap Guinness all-day; some plastic sheets maybe required at somepoint.
