Heywood entertain Littleborough at the end of a long CLL campaign on Sunday.
Despite the results of the last couple of weeks, when the young side has just run out of steam, there have been some great achievements this year and plenty to be proud of, not least winning the Wood Cup at Crimble.
Following the game, there will be a chance to say farewell to popular pro Travis Townsend and Riley Paterson with a long evening in prospect.
The seconds travel to Royton, with a pit-stop or two undoubtedly planned for the way back in traditional seconds fashion.
There’s a bonus on Saturday when the thirds host Unsworth at Crimble, which will be a great chance to see some of the club’s young players in action. On Sunday they travel to Swinton Moorside.
