HEYWOOD get their 2021 season under way at the weekend with friendly fixtures against Norden – with the enforced absence of spectators.
The senior side go to Woodhouse Lane on Saturday (April 10), the third X1 fixture is at Crimble the same day, and the meeting of the 2nd X1 teams is on Sunday (April 11).
All friendlies start at 1pm and will be 40-overs per innings.
The first team features their two recent signings, all-rounders Caleb Grant and Fayaz Ughradar.
But, in accordance with English Cricket Board and Government advice, NO SPECTATORS will be allowed at any of the friendlies. This rule is expected to be relaxed from April 12.

HEYWOOD 2nd X1 (v Norden, home, Sunday, 1pm): S Evans (capt), L Grogan, D Fawcett, A Dawson, J Kaye, B Wood, S Bevan, C Stanford-Campbell, G Deboeck, J Leadbetter, M Iqbal.
HEYWOOD 3rd X1 (v Norden, home, Saturday, 1pm): D Hilton (capt), J O’Neill, C Stanford-Campbell, M Dearden, C McNally, W Taylor, T Pagett, E Clarkson, J McCulloch, B McCulloch, D Ashton.
