CHRIS Kaye comes back into Heywood’s first team for the home clash with Denton on Saturday.
The 48-year-old has played regularly for the second team this season alongside his son Jacob, but the long-serving one-club man is recalled to senior action as Heywood are again hit hard by player unavailability.
It’s a game Heywood need to win to maintain their challenge for promotion back to the Greater Manchester Premier League.
Kaye is the Club’s record wicket-taker and his experience could be vital on the big Crimble ground where he has performed with such distinction over the years.
The second team face a trip to Rochdale Catholic Club the same day, and the third team have a date at Bury area club Woodbank on Sunday.
