HEYWOOD’S 2nd X1 bid to preserve their Division Three status in the Greater Manchester League in their final match of the season at Crimble on Saturday (12.30pm).
They entertain leaders Prestwich knowing that a victory will give the local side a strong chance of avoiding relegation.
But the visitors will also be keen for a victory which, with maximum points, would confirm them as Division Three champions.
It’s a final busy weekend of the season with Crimble also the setting on Sunday for the final 3rd X1 match at home to Thornham in the Sunday North East Division.
