ONE of the most important evenings of the year for junior players comes at Heywood Cricket Club on Thursday, March 28 (7pm).
Junior Registration Night is an opportunity for youngsters to sign on for the coming cricket season, renew family memberships and introduce new members.
Coaches and managers of all age groups – Under-Nines, Under-11s, Under-13s, Under-15s and Under-18s – will be present and available to answer any questions.
And guidelines from the England and Wales Cricket Board plus the Greater Manchester Cricket League will be made clear.
The evening will be a chance for those youngsters who have played cricket for the club before and those wanting to have a go at the game for the first time to get their details registered.
For those who don’t know how to get to Crimble, the ground is at the bottom of Aspinall Street, down the slope opposite as if you are going into Queen’s Park and through the gates. The clubhouse is on the lefthand side.
