Heywood CC and John Willie Lees – A Match Made In Heaven

Heywood CC and John Willie Lees brewery have continued their long and fruitful relationship.

Sales manager Dean Redfern presented Heywood cricket chairman David Fare with a cheque that continues the Middleton brewery’s sponsorship of Heywood.

Lees also sponsor the Central Lancashire League’s Wood Cup as well as many other clubs in the area.

Redfern said: “We are not a massive company and we can’t sponsor Premier League sides.

“But we like to do our bit for local sport.”

Fare added: “We are very happy to continue the long relationship with John Willie Lees and to continue to drink their beer.”
